Happy Birthday, Jesus!!

We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus on Sunday at church and celebrated with crafts, christmas carols, cake and a story. It was so much fun! I was talking to a friend at church tonight and she was telling me what her nephew had to say about the party. When asked if he had fun at the Happy Birthday Jesus Party, he replied, "Yeah, but I didn't see Jesus there!!" So cute! Look at the cute pictures from our fun morning!

A Song of Joy!

The 1st-6th graders presented their Christmas choir musical this past Sunday night! THEY WERE AMAZING! The program was flawless and they all looked so cute in their precious costumes and t-shirts! Thank you boys and girls for all of your hard work!! A special thank you to you parents who bring them week after week! The children's choir wouldn't be as wonderful as it is without the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Carolyn Harrell, Mrs. Cheryl Gressett, Mr. Barry Germany, Ms. Linda Boswell, Mrs. Christina Allen, Mrs. Miriam Chesney, Mrs. Staci Carpenter and Mrs. Marilyn Green. I can't thank you enough for what you do for our children!

Mr. Cecil Gets a Christmas Surprise...

This past Sunday night, some of the 1st-6th graders, Mrs. Debbie Ivey and I made a trip to visit Mr. Cecil Jones. Mr. Cecil isn't able to come to church as much as he would like, so we took church to him. The kiddos made christmas ornaments for him and decorated a Christmas tree so that we could brighten his day. Merry Christmas, Mr. Cecil! We love you!
