The 1st-6th graders raised money for India back in March. I challenged the children to collect all of their spare change so that we could put it all together and buy sheep for the families in India. It costs $25 for one sheep, so I thought that if we could raise $100 we would be able to help four families. Boy, was I wrong. The children raised $320.22 and we were able to provide 12 sheep for the families. The children were selling stories, asking family members and coming up with other creative ways to get money! Everyone of the children at FBC love the Lord and enjoy sharing his love in our church, in our community and in our world!!Wednesday, October 22, 2008

Way to go kids! I've been to India and know this will help alot of people.
Abs, thank you so much for teaching our children the importance of giving. What a blessing you are to my family. All that you do does not go unnoticed and we love you so much!
